To work within a team ensuring all patients receive timely and appropriate care, ensuring utilisation of Allied Health Professionals support and guidance to promote a safe and timely discharge.
Main duties- Providing patient care and ensuring all activities of daily living are maintained whilst ensuring the patient receives safe and appropriate care.
- Linking with all AHPs ensuring the patient receives timely and appropriate.
- Ensuring the patient receives their prescribed medications at the correct time.
- Participating in a research and audit completion.
- Ensuring all knowledge is recorded and up to date via the Trust system.
- Working with all AHPs ensuring patient care is provided safely and timely.
- Participating in all research and audit for the Trust.
- Participating in all Trust iniatives.

- Maintain current knowledge to ensure compliance with NMC requirements.

- Ensuring the patient receives their prescribed medications at the correct time.
- Participating in a research and audit completion.
- Ensuring all knowledge is recorded and up to date via the Trust system.
- Answerable to Ward Manager and Matron.
- Registered Nurse (1st or 2nd Level)
- Willingness to undertake teaching and assessing qualification
- Willingness to undertake conversion course to Part 1 of the NMC register
- Diploma/willingness to undertake Diploma
- Teaching & assessing qualification
- Ability to teach peers within clinical area
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Experience of team and ward management*
