Creative Support is a non‑profit organisation which provides high‑quality person‑centred social care services for people with learning disabilities, mental health and other needs. Our supported‑living and domiciliary service in Blackpool supports adults with learning disabilities, some of whom are on the autistic spectrum and have complex needs.

Overview

We are looking for calm, resourceful and energetic individuals who are well motivated, hardworking and keen to join our friendly team. You will provide person‑centred care and support to tenants and service users in the supported living and on the outreach service helping them to take part in all aspects of everyday life and to enjoy a wide range of activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and domestic tasks to tenants and service users.
  • Support residents in taking part in everyday life activities.
  • Work flexible rota including evenings, weekends and sleep‑ins (including wake‑night support for one project).
  • Collaborate with team members and report on care plans.
  • Engage with residents using a creative and person‑centred approach.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in health and social care is beneficial but not a substitute for an engaging, creative and person‑centred approach.
  • Calm, resourceful and energetic.
  • Well‑motivated, hardworking and willing to work flexible hours.
Conditions

Full training is provided, including opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care through Creative Support’s own training academy. We have full‑time and part‑time posts available.
