We’re looking for a female Live-In Support Worker to support a warm, sociable client as he continues life with a spinal cord injury in Preston. He lives independently in a fully adapted home with his small dog, enjoys trips to the local pub, spending time with friends and family, and getting out for walks with his support worker. Because his home is remote, being able to drive is incredibly important to help him stay connected to the community.

• Delivering truly person-centred support with daily living, including personal care, moving and handling, cough assist, blood pressure monitoring and light household tasks.
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and meaningful choices every day.
• Supporting social activities and outings that matter to him.
• Driving his manual vehicle – a full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

• Live-in shifts for 3 days per week (Thursday, Friday & Saturday).
• Zero-hours contract offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

• Warm, compassionate, and reliable.
• Someone who communicates well and brings a positive, friendly energy.
• A confident driver with a full UK licence.

(This role requires a female Support Worker under a genuine occupational requirement.)

• £147 up to £162 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
