Description- Partner with operational teams to provide high-quality tax support through strong insight into business activities
- Offer commercially balanced, governance-aligned tax guidance with clear stakeholder communication
- Develop trusted relationships with senior leaders and relevant external contacts
- Track legislative and regulatory changes, evaluating potential business impact
- Explain effective tax rate outcomes and related accounting considerations
- Oversee and coordinate UK and overseas tax filings and payment requirements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging digital tools, automation and AI solutions
- Contribute to broader team projects as needed
- Mentor junior colleagues and share expertise without formal line management duties
A Successful Tax Manager Should Have
- A professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA).
- Proven experience in corporate tax including international
- Exposure to Advisory along side the compliance aspect
- Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to non-specialists.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
