Investment Associate

Our client is a long standing and successful investment management and wealth management firm, who specialise in HNW and UHNW client management. Their proposition and team continues to grow and they are looking to expand their IM team in Blackpool. This role will see you working hand in hand with one of their senior IM’s, supporting them in management and maintaining client relationships and more.

This role is perfect for someone already working within the Investment space, but wanting to accelerate their career!

• Shadow the IM to develop and maintain client relationships
• Assist in gathering meeting notes, liaising with clients, preparing portfolio information and valuation and tax packs
• General administration support for the IM
• Support with suitability reviews and reports, and once trained/qualified, undertaking research
• Place trades in Avaloq following instructions from the IM
• Following compliance procedures and FCA regulations

• Level 3 CISI qualification desired, working towards Level 4 ideal
• Working knowledge of Avaloq system ideal
• Experience working within Investment Management firm essential, ideally directly alongside an IM
• Experience using market data and training systems
