Management Accountant

Management Accountant | 3 month FTC | Lancashire | Up to £60,000 An established and fast-paced business is looking for a Management Accountant to support the finance team on a fixed-term contract. You'll play a key role in producing timely financial information, supporting decision-making, and driving improvements in reporting and controls. Responsibilities Prepare weekly management accounts with detailed variance analysis.

Produce monthly management accounts, including CoS and direct cost reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely completion of statutory returns, including VAT. Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles. Maintain and monitor provision schedules and rebate schedules. Assist with external and internal audits. About You ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified Accountant with experience in a similar role. FMCG or manufacturing experience is essential. High attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously when required.

A proactive problem solver who can think around challenges and develop solutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise effectively.
