The team is committed to providing accurate and timely information that enables the Hospice Trustees and Senior Management Team to make sound strategic decisions.

Excellent numeracy, IT, organisational and interpersonal skills are crucial for this post.

Working conditions:

You will work on-site at the Hospice as part of a dedicated finance team. This role is for 30 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly across either 4 or 5 days per week.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Location: St John's Hospice, Lancaster
• Hours: 30 per week
• Role Type: Permanent
• Pay: £19,063.20–£19,656.00 per annum (based on 30 hours/week, dependent on pension scheme)
• Holiday: 27 days plus usual bank holidays (7 weeks per annum)
• Pension: St Johns Hospice Pension Scheme (8% employer contribution); NHS Pension may be continued subject to eligibility
• Closing Date: Sunday 11th January 2026
• Interview date: Monday 19th January 2026
