Are you a calm, patient, and resilient professional with a genuine passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?
We are partnering with a welcoming and inclusive SEMH school in Oldham that is looking for a dedicated Student Success Coach to join their supportive and experienced team. This is a highly rewarding role where you will make a real difference, helping pupils thrive through structure, encouragement, and tailored guidance designed to help them reach their full potential.

Student Success Coach- Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities, behaviour management, and targeted interventions
- Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience throughout the school day
- Support the monitoring of pupil progress and maintain clear communication with staff and families
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (education, care, or youth settings)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour support
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A sound understanding of SEMH and SEND strategies
- A relevant qualification in education, care, or support is advantageous but not essential
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
- Be able to provide two professional references (child-related preferred)
