£33,465 to £51,714 per annum; full time

At Blackpool Sixth we are all about empowering young people and creating a place where learning truly comes to life. We specialise in outstanding 16-19 education, and we are on the lookout for a dedicated T Level and BTEC Health and Social Care Teacher to join our fabulous team on a full-time basis. You may also have an opportunity to teach on our new Early Childhood Development course.

Based in our Social Sciences department, you will work closely with others to support your students in achieving your goals and discovering their potential. A day in your new role could see you:

  • Inspiring and motivating students as they explore the diverse and vital world of Health and Social Care
  • Crafting and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that cater to the unique needs and learning styles of every student.
  • Developing a range of clinical and sector-specific skills within a classroom or mock ward setting
  • Collaborating with a dynamic team to develop outstanding schemes of work and enriching resources
  • Mentoring and guiding students on their journey to realise their individual goals and future aspirations
  • Creating opportunities for work placements and driving professional employability skills to support career progression in the health and social care field
