About the Role

A supportive and forward‑thinking secondary school in Preston is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join them on a long‑term supply basis. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys the consistency of a regular timetable while still benefiting from the flexibility of supply work.

You’ll deliver engaging and well‑structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students build confidence and make strong progress. The school has a collaborative Maths department and a welcoming team, creating a positive environment where you can focus on high‑quality teaching without the additional pressures of a permanent contract.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Maths across KS3–KS4
Planning and marking in line with department expectations
Supporting students with numeracy development and exam preparation
Creating a calm, purposeful classroom environment
Building positive relationships with students and colleagues
Contributing to the wider Maths department where needed

What We’re Looking For

A qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or QTLS)
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths
Confident behaviour management and a positive classroom presence
Ability to adapt quickly and work collaboratively
Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
