Teaching Assistant - GCSE

Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant- GCSE to join a well-established, forward thinking secondary school based in Accrington.

  Full-time until Easter 2026 (possibility to extend further)
• Working hours:
  
  8:30am-3:30pm
• Hourly Rate: 80-100 per day

• Have a proven track record of a similar background.
• Have experience supporting students with SEND (Special Educational Needs) on a 1 2 1 basis.
• Have experience supporting KS4 students with GCSE preperation
• Be an excellent, inspirational Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management.
• Possess a passion for pupil development.
• Provide relevant references.
• Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.
• Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.
• Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks.
