Job Type: Long-term part time (Wednesdays and Thursdays)

Start Date: Easter 2026

Cover People are currently recruiting for a German Teacher to join a supportive secondary school based in Rochdale starting after Easter, until at least July

This is a part time temporary opportunity for a passionate and reliable educator to make a real impact. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in German across KS3 & KS4 and contribute positively to the school community.

• Deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum standards
• Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
• Contribute to department planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives
• Support the academic and personal development of all learners

• QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
• Experience teaching KS3 & GCSE German
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• A passion for teaching and pupil progress
• Right to work in the UK
