Location: Bury
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, ongoing (week-by-week basis)
Premier Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths, ideally with a Statistics specialism, to join a secondary school in Bury on a full-time, week-by-week basis starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Maths specialist who is confident delivering high-quality lessons across the Maths curriculum, with particular strength in Statistics at Key Stages 4.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons, supporting pupils in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
Candidate requirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
Recent experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting
A strong subject knowledge in Maths, with a specialism or particular strength in Statistics
Confidence delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
A reflective, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach to teaching
Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS certificate and demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
150 - 220 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
