Job Title: Temporary PMLD Teacher
Area: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Start Date: Monday 2nd March 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: 220 - 350 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
About the roleAre you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)?
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, delivering high‑quality teaching in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
You will be working with students across KS2, KS3, and KS4, supporting them to achieve their developmental milestones and EHCP outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with support staff, parents/carers, and other professionals to provide a consistent and holistic approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tailored English lessons to pupils with PMLD
- Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones
- Work closely with support staff and parents/carers to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space where every student can thrive
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in an SEN setting (or strong SEN knowledge within a mainstream environment)
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to classroom management
- Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to nurturing every child's progress
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
