SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Ribchester, Lancashire
Salary: 22,478.40 per annum + Benefits
Contract: Permanent, Term Time

Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential? As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting children with diverse needs, inspiring them to develop skills for life and fostering confidence in their abilities.

• Assist with daily educational activities and supporting individual learning plans
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment
• Support children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex conditions
• Help implement tailored programmes to enhance learning, development, and wellbeing
• Collaborate with the dedicated team to promote positive outcomes for each pupil

Essential:

• Passion for working with children and young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring and patient approach to support diverse needs
• Valid driving license (preferred) for travel purposes

Desirable:

• No specific qualifications are required, but relevant experience or qualifications such as NVQ Level 3/5 in Childcare or Education would be advantageous
