SummaryThe Governors at Caton St. Paul’s CE Primary School are looking for an excellent, dedicated and motivated teaching assistant to join our school to support a Year 1 child on a 1:1 basis. This child has been diagnosed with autism and issued with an EHCP, which is why we are looking for 1:1 support for 5 mornings a week. He is a lovely boy with a great sense of humour who will require support to access the curriculum, as well as to develop his communication skills.
There will be input from a specialist teacher and speech and language professionals and, with your help, we envisage this child continuing to make good progress s role offers training and support and provides an opportunity to develop a strong relationship with this child, ensuring they are able to continue to flourish s role also offers the possibility of some casual welfare hours.

- Essential Qualifications
- Level 2 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
- Essential Experience
- Experience of working with children with special needs.
- Experience of working with children in a KS1 setting.
- Desirable Experience
- Experience of working with children with autism.
- Experience of working with children with communication difficulties.
