About the Role

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Preston who are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils' transition into Key Stage 2, and making a real impact on progress and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the Year 3 national curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
Assess, track, and support pupil progress effectively
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and the wider school team
Communicate positively with parents and carers when required

About You

The successful candidate will:

Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
Have experience teaching within KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate strong classroom management and a nurturing teaching style
Be committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about making a difference
Be confident adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
