- Assist with delivery and ongoing improvement of lab-based modules on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Contribute to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; support marking and assessment of coursework.
- Support students with exam preparation and revision techniques; participate in teaching reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Engage in curriculum development where appropriate; contribute to the development of a high-quality lab-based learning environment.
- Apply specialist knowledge to teaching duties, with emphasis on cyber security teaching where appropriate.
- Strong computer science background with excellence in lab-based teaching at university level.
- Ability to contribute to teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; strong programming, computational problem solving and software design skills.
- Desirable specialist knowledge areas include cyber-security, applied machine learning and data mining, intelligent video analytics, natural language processing and artificial intelligence, autonomous learning and dynamically evolving self-learning systems.
