Job TypePermanent, Full Time – 37 hours per week, all year round.
Salary£25,583 – £25,989 per annum, with 22 days annual leave (rising to 27 days after 5 years) and 8 statutory bank holidays.
Job OverviewA key member of the premises team at St George’s Academy, the Site Supervisor supports the operation of the estate within this popular and oversubscribed academy. The role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented individual who is willing to be hands‑on with day‑to‑day activities and work closely with the Senior Site Supervisor, premises team, wider Trust and community.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to day‑to‑day procedures, including Health & Safety, estates related safeguarding matters, compliance, grounds, asbestos and contractor management.
- Assist with flexible working hours, including some evening and occasional weekend work.
- Demonstrate an understanding of facilities management and health & safety related compliance.
- Engage with stakeholders, keeping strong communication and interpersonal skills; work alongside the premises team and wider community to provide the best learning environment for every child.
- Follow review systems and working practices to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, recognised standards, and Trust‑led processes and policies.
- Experience or understanding of facilities management and health & safety compliance.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work flexible hours, including some evening and weekend work.
- Willingness to work closely with premises team and community stakeholders.
