Level Teaching Assistant

Position

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) at Tip Top Job , located in Prestwich.

Start: ASAP Hours: 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday

• Lead small group sessions and interventions to support learning
• Provide classroom support for pupils with SEMH needs
• Cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour management
• Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to adapt learning materials

• Experience working as a HLTA or a strong Teaching Assistant looking to step up
• Ability to support students with SEMH and additional needs
• Confidence to lead sessions and support class learning
• A calm, positive, and proactive approach to behaviour management
• Commitment to a long‑term role in a supportive school environment

• Full‑time, long‑term HLTA role with potential for a school contract
