SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming and inclusive school in Bolton
. This role involves working closely with children who may have autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional and mental health needs
, either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

• Provide tailored 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEN
• Support pupils' learning, emotional well-being, and independence
• Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted lessons
• Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and individual support plans
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and wider support staff
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

• Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting preferred)
• A patient, calm, and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
• Relevant qualifications or training desirable but not essential
