Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm with a 30‑minute lunch break.
This role supports the Early Years Curriculum in an outstanding primary school with exceptional resources, surroundings and senior leadership. It is a long‑term, full‑time position with a transition from temporary to permanent employment from the outset.
Responsibilities- Work as a general teaching assistant within the early years.
- Support the teacher in delivering the Early Years Curriculum to pupils.
- Plan and lead one‑to‑one teaching and interventions with children.
- Partner with parents, teachers and the school to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
- Experience working in early years settings (school, private nursery, etc.).
- Sound knowledge of the early years curriculum.
- Level 3 relevant qualification desirable but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Complete our vetting process and have 24/7 support from a dedicated consultant.
- Possess a clear Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the online update service.
- Provide two references covering a 3‑year period, one of which must be from your most recent place of employment.
- Demonstrated ability to create a happy, challenging and effective learning environment.
- Show a helpful, positive, calm and caring nature.
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly via PAYE or Umbrella.
- 24/7 support from a professional consultant throughout your placement.
- Manage timesheets online through our portal.
- Free safeguarding course and other CPD.
