Children and Family Wellbeing Service (CFW) is part of Lancashire County Council's Education and Children's Services. It offers early help and support to children, young people aged 0‑19 yrs+ (25 yrs for young people with special educational needs and disabilities) and their families across Lancashire.
Lancashire County Council is seeking an experienced and values‑driven Senior HAF Facilitator to lead the operational delivery of Lancashire’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme. This programme supports children and young people eligible for benefits‑related Free School Meals by delivering high‑quality, nutritious meals and enriching holiday activities across our 12 districts.
- Lead the operational delivery of the HAF programme.
- Manage day‑to‑day delivery, oversight and reporting.
- Lead the HAF Facilitator team, strengthen district partnerships and ensure delivery is of a consistently high standard.
- Provide the Department for Education (DfE) with accurate, high‑quality monitoring data.
- Provide confident, compassionate and effective management to the HAF Facilitator team.
- Develop purposeful and resilient working relationships with district councils and County Council.
- Conduct robust data collection, analysis and reporting; oversee quality assurance processes, manage attendance and performance data.
- Monitor and manage the HAF budget, ensuring the vast majority of funding supports high‑quality face‑to‑face provision.
- Work closely with internal LCC teams (Family Hubs, Early Years, Schools, SEND, Community Partnerships) to support effective mapping of provision, identify gaps and ensure meaningful access for all children.
