We have been assigned by one of the highest performing teaching NHS Hospitals in the UK to assist in recruiting a Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics on either a Substantive or 12-month NHS Fixed Term basis.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pre-operative assessment and post-operative management of patients.
  • Weekly theatre sessions, with flexible scheduling to ensure high-quality Anaesthetic services.
  • Administrative duties related to patient care.
  • Participation in audit and clinical governance programs.
  • Teaching and training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Development of specialist interests aligned with the Directorate’s business plans.

    • The successful candidate will receive full support from the Trust and Directorate to develop their expertise and contribute to service development.

    Our client is located in a highly desirable area of North West England, known for its natural beauty, outdoor activities like cycling, surfing, and climbing, and excellent transport links to Manchester and London.

    Additional information includes:

    • Excellent leadership within the team.
    • 12 Programmed Activities (PA) per week, with potential for increase.
