Join our multidisciplinary team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust and provide acute medical and rehabilitation care to stroke patients.

This full‑time substantive post offers a competitive salary of £109,725 – £145,478, a permanent contract, and the potential to become Clinical Lead for the Stroke Service.

• Provide acute medical and rehabilitation care to stroke patients.
• Contribute to a high‑quality TIA Service.
• See patients in the Combined Stroke Unit, TIA Clinic, and undertake Out‑Patient Clinics.
• Allocate time for SPA and clinical administration work.

• Full registration with the General Medical Council (MRCP or equivalent).
• Certificate of completion in specialist training (CCT) in general internal medicine (GIM) and geriatric medicine or within 6 months of completion of training at the time of interview.

• Evidence of additional stroke experience.

• Broad exposure to medical diseases and management of these.
• Comprehensive patient management, ability to train/supervise junior medical staff and medical students.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
