Travel Consultant

Passionate about travel and great service, already have experience in using a GDS and want to work from home?
We’re looking for an experienced travel consultant to join a busy call centre, helping customers book amazing trips around the world and providing expert advice on all things travel! Working 5 days - Mon
- Fri 9am – 6pm, Saturdays 9am
-5pm and no Sundays!
As a travel consultant you will:

Handle inbound and outbound calls, managing new bookings and online booking enquiries.

Upsell travel extras including accommodation, tours, car hire, upgrades and more.

Use a GDS to manage complex itineraries and make booking amendments.

Deliver excellent customer service on every call and support customers throughout their travel journey.

Work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to earn your own commissions as well as team targets and overall business success.

As a travel consultant you will have:

Experience using a GDS either Galileo , Amadeus or sabre

Travel industry sales experience

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Good knowledge of worldwide destinations and airline products.

A sales-driven mindset and ability to build rapport quickly.

Travel consultant extra info:

Salary up to £28k plus commissions.

Homeworking available

This is a full-time role working Mon
- Fri 9am – 6pm, Saturdays 9am
-5pm and no Sundays. However, if you need a slightly later shift pattern (ie 9.30am – 6.30pm or 10am – 7pm) and have all the above then this may be considered also
