Job Description | Salary £28,142 - £32,061 per annum | Permanent, 29.6 - 37 hours per week | Pro Rata
Are you passionate about helping children, young people, and families thrive? We’re looking for caring and committed Family Support Workers to join our Early Help team in Fylde & Wyre.
About the RoleAs a Family Support Worker, you’ll work closely with families to understand their needs and help them make positive changes. You’ll support children and young people by building strong relationships, creating action plans with families, and working alongside schools and other services to make sure families get the right help at the right time.
What You’ll Do- Support families through one-to-one work and group sessions
- Carry out early help assessments and create action plans with families
- Work with schools, health services, and other partners to provide joined-up support
- Help families build on their strengths and overcome challenges
- Keep clear and accurate records of your work
- Use your judgement and creativity to adapt your approach when needed
- Someone who’s great at building trust and working with people from all backgrounds
- A good communicator who can work well with other professionals
- Organised and confident in managing your own caseload
- Able to work flexibly, including some evenings or weekends if needed
- Experience working with children, young people, or families is a plus
- Make a real difference in your community
- Be part of a supportive and passionate team
