Required:
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare, or equivalent
📆 Experience in Years
Required:
Minimum 4 years management experience in residential childcare

We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager who:
- Has a proven track record of achieving and sustaining Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings in children’s homes
- Can lead, supervise, and appraise staff, including safer recruitment practices
- Is proficient in legislation, regulatory compliance, and Ofsted guidance
- Is passionate about care and motivated to positively influence the outcomes of children and young people
- Holds a driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Dynamic, professional, and innovative children’s care provider

- Lead a team in delivering high‑quality care and support to children and young people
- Work with external agencies, Ofsted, LA, and Reg 44 to ensure standards are met
- Develop and implement care plans, risk assessments, and strategies to meet regulatory requirements
- Monitor service effectiveness and ensure positive outcomes for children
- Oversee recruitment, supervision, and training of staff
- Maintain accurate records and reporting, ensuring compliance at all times
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare, or equivalent
- At least 4 years’ management experience in a residential children’s home setting
- Minimum of 2 “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted ratings in previous roles
- Familiarity with therapeutic approaches, MH experience, DOLS, neuro de‑escalation
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding, child protection, and partnership working
