Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group for a lunch time cover assistant, working 11am - 2pm, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual for our wonderful Blackpool based nursery, Moorevilla Day Nursery.

  • To prioritise the safeguarding of all children, staff and families that have access to the setting.
  • To promote a fun, high quality environment for all children in our care.
  • Ensuring the welfare and learning development requirements of all children are met at all times.
  • To confidently and respectfully work in partnership with parents and carers.
  • Undertake a shared responsibility for the health and safety of the nursery.
  • Ensure all children are clean, loved and happy at all times.
  • Adhere to all Policies and Procedures set out by the company.
  • Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures relating to the nursery.
  • Take pride in the delivery of exciting and age appropriate activities.
  • To ensure mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing.
  • To fully comply with our Confidentiality policy.
  • To fully understand and promote the company’s ethos and core values.
  • To be a key player to ensure the nursery receives excellent outcomes in internal audits and those of external authorities such as Ofsted.
  • To use initiative at all times.
