Vehicle Mechanic (Diagnostics) - Vehicle Preparation Centre - £40,000 to £60,000 fully dependent upon level of experience

Preliminary Questions- Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic capability?
- Can you confidently undertake engine, gearbox and timing repairs?
- Do you hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent workshop experience?
- Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced Vehicle Preparation environment?
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- Level 3 City and Guilds qualification (or equivalent) OR minimum 5 years workshop experience
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with gearboxes, timing belts and chains, engine repairs and light mechanical work
- Full UK or EU Driving Licence
- Own stocked toolbox and essential servicing tools
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills with colleagues and customers
- £40,000 to £60,000 basic salary depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent position

Role & Responsibilities- Carry out diagnostic checks and mechanical repairs to industry‑leading standards
- Complete repairs including gearboxes, timing belts and chains, engine repairs and general servicing
- Undertake road tests to diagnose and confirm vehicle faults
- Accurately complete job documentation and workshop records
- Maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment
- Support the wider Customer Care and Preparation teams
