Semi Senior Accountant – Practice

Proactive Personnel are working with a well-established Accountancy Practice based in Preston.

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants based in Preston, working in a relaxed atmosphere, in a spacious, light office, with up-to-date computer equipment so you’ll everything you need to do your job well.

You’ll get all the help and encouragement you need to be the very best you can be. We offer training on personal development – not just the technical stuff and you will be personally mentored by the senior team.

Hours:

Mon-Thurs 8:30am – 4:30pm & Fri 9:00am – 2pm

Salary:
Up to £36,000 DOE

Ideal Candidate:

* Have a minimum of 3 years practice experience (not contractor based)

* Be able to support our clients in a variety of ways with preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, personal and business tax returns, bookkeeping and VAT returns.

* Be confident in looking after clients.

* Know how to use cloud bookkeeping platforms (we are Xero based)

* Practice accounting: 3 years (required)

* Bookkeeping & VAT: 3 years (preferred)

* Producing Accounts to review: 3 years (required)
