Accountant, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk, Tax Accountant

Based in Blackburn, the business has a small friendly accounts team, and a reputation for offering their clients excellent accounting and taxation support & services.

The job will mainly involve preparing daily entries and bookkeeping for various medium sized businesses alongside preparation of accounts and tax returns for individuals, partnerships and limited companies.

The individual will also be involved in VAT preparation and other bookkeeping services from accounts preparation and monthly closing of records. The work will involve multiple areas to allow sufficient work flow.

We seek an individual who has good communication skills, happy to converse with clients and able to work in a team. Other skills involve applying judgement and completing work / assignments before filing deadlines. User of Sage, Xero or cloud based software. AAT Part Qualified, AAT Qualified or Hands on Experience QBE.

The salary is dependent upon experience and circa £27-32k per annum. Negotiable.
