As a Customer Team Member, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re‑stacking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

you'll do
- Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, working in our in‑store bakery and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience.
- Work together to make everyone’s day better – supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members.
- Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be.
- Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together.
- Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events!
- Assist the Store Manager and make sure your store is always safe.
- Take pride in keeping the store well‑stocked and looking great, leading by example and doing the right thing.
- Build a rewarding career in retail by supporting your store colleagues and fostering a positive team culture.
- Lead a large team of Store Managers across around 20 stores.
- Inspire your team to deliver a great customer experience, drive sales, and contribute to their communities.
- Help bring our strategies to life through exciting projects and programmes.
