HAUL CDL Driver-Colorado

Description

This position is responsible for transporting animal loads as scheduled while following our biosecurity protocols.

Transport animal loads according to schedule, adhering to biosecurity protocols.

• 90% – Livestock movements: loading and unloading swine
• 10% – Other duties as assigned (feed haul, moving equipment, etc.)
• Communication with various departments

Local travel – approximately 30-mile local farm radius.

• Valid Non-Expired Class A CDL
• Live haul experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to lift/carry heavy objects approximately 60 lbs
• Constant walking, bending, pushing, pulling
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions independently
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, positive individual with strong work ethics
• Ability to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in inclement weather conditions

• 1 year driving experience preferred
• Animal handling experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to work in tight spaces; trailer compartment
