PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

Day Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist. The PTA will implement selected components of patient/client interventions, obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications in selected interventions as directed.

• Assist the physical therapist in the treatment of patients of all ages with medical problems or health-related conditions that limit their abilities.
• Provide patient care in various settings including in-patient, outpatient, and home health.
• Ensure patient/client safety and comfort during treatments.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Currently credentialed by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies, Division of Professions and Occupations, State Physical Therapy Board.
• Verification of current instruction in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Minimum of two years of experience preferred, primarily in outpatient settings.
• Bi-lingual capabilities are helpful.
