Head Women's Soccer Coach, Pierce
Pierce College is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Women's Soccer Coach.
This position works under the supervision of the Director of Athletics for the Pierce College District and will oversee all aspects of the women's intercollegiate soccer program, within the policies and regulations of Pierce College and the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC). The position is part-time, and the successful candidate will begin immediately upon selection. Pierce College welcomes applicants with a dynamic approach to coaching young women, with a vision for building a program foundation based on excellence in the classroom, on the field, and in the community.
Primary responsibilities of the Head Coach will include, but not be limited to:
- Administer, lead, and direct the women's soccer program
- Recruitment of prospective student-athletes within the guidelines of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC)
- Teach sport specific skills and strategies; build, develop, and evaluate teamwork; develop and enforce team training rules
- Monitor and support academic achievement standards and leadership development
- Developing a sport-specific strength and conditioning program
- Recruit and recommend for hire qualified assistant coaches
- Ensure timely processing of compliance and eligibility documentation
- Assist with development of a competitive contest schedule, transport team members to all activities and away contests, manage team equipment inventory
- Participate in budget development and conduct team fundraising activities
- Support all activities of the Athletic Department
