• Build out the backend for Pinner-facing features to enhance user inspiration on the platform
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to create end-to-end functionality
• Suggest new product ideas and features based on user experience
• Utilize automated testing to ensure high technical quality of developed features
• Design, develop, and operate large-scale distributed systems and networks

• 4+ years of industry backend development experience, focusing on consumer or business-facing products
• Proficiency in common backend tech stacks for online services, storage, caching, and data processing
• Experience building Graph
  
  QL APIs and converting REST to GraphQL
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience in Python, Java, C++, or Go, with a willingness to learn new languages

• Passionate about working on a Platform team with experience managing large projects
• Self-motivated with a focus on improving internal developer productivity
• Familiarity with best practices for writing reliable and maintainable code
• Experience deploying and operating large-scale workloads on a public cloud footprint
