Join our dedicated team at (KWA) Korean Women's Association in Tacoma, Washington, where you'll play an essential role as a Full-Time Social Services Assistant focused on Coordinated Entry. This onsite position offers an inspiring opportunity to directly support victims of domestic violence by facilitating critical Intake & Assessment and System Navigation services. You'll make a tangible difference in the lives of those in crisis through effective Crisis Intervention and Trauma-Informed Care.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough intake services for clients and coordinate their next steps with Coordinated Entry and System Navigation staff.
- Collaborate with other organizations to ensure a comprehensive support network while utilizing the Clarity HMIS for effective Database Management.
- Participate in required training and networking meetings, and attend staff meetings to stay informed about policies and procedures.
- Implement supportive practices to enhance client experiences and contribute to a collaborative, empathetic team environment.
- MS Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation, scheduling, and communication.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trusting relationships with clients and collaborate with staff and external organizations.
- Strong conflict management abilities and excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High School diploma or GED required; two years of college in a related field preferred; satisfactorily pass criminal history and reference checks.
Salary range: $22 to $23 per hour. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Training, 11 Paid Holidays, and 401(k) after 1 year.
