The Front Desk Staff at Ethlete Lab Academy (ELA) serves as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a welcoming and organized experience. This role involves assisting customers with check-ins, answering questions, managing reservations, and maintaining a clean and efficient front-of-house operation. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, tech-savvy, and passionate about gaming and youth education.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service
  • Greet all visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Assist customers with check-ins, bookings, memberships, and program registrations.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Resolve customer questions, issues, or concerns, escalating when necessary.
Administrative Support
  • Process payments, memberships, and reservations using the POS system.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer information, attendance, and transactions.
  • Manage the lounge schedule, including program sessions, party bookings, and tournaments.
  • Track and report daily sales and attendance metrics to the Lounge Manager.
Facility Support
  • Ensure the front desk area and lounge are clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Monitor and restock supplies, including snacks, drinks, and promotional materials.
  • Provide basic technical support, such as setting up gaming equipment or troubleshooting minor issues.
Program Support
  • Promote upcoming events, programs, and memberships to customers.
  • Assist with check-ins and logistics during events, tournaments, or parties.
  • Distribute promotional materials and answer questions about ELA’s services.
Community Building
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers of all ages and skill levels.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Act as an ambassador for ELA by embodying the company’s values of fun, learning, and inclusivity.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
  • Passion for gaming, esports, or technology is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, POS systems, and gaming equipment.
WORK SCHEDULE
  • Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
