Military Veteran Security Guard

Pay Rate: $17-$20 with regular SORA, $25-30 with armed license |
Schedule: Full-time & Part-time available

Iron Rock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard in Lakewood. Willing to train military veterans through our SORA training partners with future interest in hiring as an armed guard. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control. The Guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers.

• Manage and monitor access control points
• Conduct regular patrols of the retail property
• Perform occasional mobile patrols as needed
  
  Write clear incident and daily activity reports
• Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs
• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately

• Military or security experience required
• Access Control Experience Required
• Valid driver's license (required for periodic mobile patrols)
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Weekly pay
• Medical insurance available to full-time employees working 30+ hours (Iron Rock pays 50% of the employee-only medical premium). Benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment
