DUTIES- Assist with supervising food preparation and service including tray assembly and service line schedules, coordinate production schedules.
- Assist with purchase or requisition food, equipment and supplies
- Plan and Implement diets and menus
- Supervise receiving of food and storage of food
- Interview residents and determine specific dietary needs and preferences
- Inform and educate residents regarding therapeutic diets
- Responsible for employee hiring, scheduling, evaluation and termination
- Must have prior food service management experience in long term care and follow all state and local food service guidelines
- Must have prior cooking experience
- Must be flu vaccinated
- Serv Safe Certification
- Must have prior Medical facility/Long term care facility experience
