Overview
The Arc of Ocean County is looking for a part-time Crew Chief to provide training, supervision and support to individuals with disabilities who are employed on a cleaning crew. This position requires travel throughout Ocean County to fill the needs of various contracts.
Schedule:
The candidate must have a flexible schedule to meet the cleaning needs of the various contracts. At least one weekend shift per week is required.
Pay: $21.75 per hour, Bi-Weekly Pay Schedule, Flexible evening and weekend hours.
ResponsibilitiesThe crew chief will take a group of individuals to various sites throughout the community to perform outside contracted cleaning services and supervise a group of individuals with disabilities employed through the cleaning service to perform tasks associated with the job. The job will also require the successful candidate to perform janitorial tasks alongside the crew to ensure the job is completed up to the customer s standards.
Qualifications- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a Valid NJ Driver s License with no more than five points with ability to drive and operate ten to twelve passenger van
- Two years of janitorial experience and previous experience with stripping and waxing large floor areas
- Must have the ability to pass a thorough State and Federal Background check screening
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred, not required.
