The Opportunity:
An innovative leader in the Mental Health Care sector is seeking a Director of Recruiting who can inspire and drive a high-performing in-house recruitment team. This hands-on role blends strategic leadership with active field engagement, offering unique visibility and significant influence across multiple markets. In this opportunity, you'll collaborate closely with both clinical and marketing leaders to attract top BCBA and RBT clinical talent, strengthen company culture, and help shape talent acquisition strategy for a mission-driven organization dedicated to enhancing behavioral health services.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage an in-house recruiting team, providing coaching, training, and accountability.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies for BCBAs and RBTs across multiple markets.
- Coach recruiters on effective, human-centered candidate engagement techniques.
- Represent the organization at ABA conferences, job fairs, university events, and networking opportunities.
- Plan and execute recruiting booths and outreach initiatives to expand talent pipelines.
- Build authentic relationships with BCBAs and RBTs, gathering feedback to inform recruitment approach.
- Partner with marketing to align recruiting content, social presence, and retention strategies.
- Support internal staff events and culture-building efforts.
- Oversee tracking and reporting of recruiting activity, talent pipelines, and outcomes.
Must-Have
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading or managing a recruiting team, ideally in healthcare or ABA.
- Strong understanding of BCBA and RBT recruiting and market dynamics.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to be highly visible and public-facing at industry events.
- Organizational proficiency, accountability, and attention to follow-through.
Nice-to-Have
Skills:
- Experience collaborating with marketing on employer branding or retention initiatives.
- Skilled in managing referral and community partnerships for talent sourcing.
- Familiarity with tracking metrics and reporting on recruitment activity and outcomes.
- Background in planning and executing recruiting events or outreach programs.
- Understanding of effective engagement strategies for clinical professionals in mental health care.
