Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Licensed or License-Eligible Therapist to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Brookfield, WI
. The IOP Therapist provides individual and group therapy to adults with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in a structured outpatient setting.
This role is ideal for clinicians experienced in IOP, outpatient therapy, substance use counseling, or dual-diagnosis treatment
, or those seeking supervision toward licensure.
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and clinical intakes for IOP clients
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans aligned with ASAM criteria
- Provide individual therapy sessions for clients enrolled in the IOP program
- Facilitate process groups and psycho educational groups focused on recovery, relapse prevention, coping skills, and mental health
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR in compliance with Wisconsin and licensing standards
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers, nurses, case managers, and clinical leadership
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case reviews, and discharge planning
- Provide crisis intervention and clinical support as needed
- Communicate with families and outside providers when appropriate and with proper consent
- Maintain a therapeutic environment that promotes safety, accountability, and recovery
- Adhere to ethical standards and client confidentiality at all times
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)
- Licensed or license-eligible in Wisconsin (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Experience in IOP, outpatient therapy, substance use treatment, or dual diagnosis preferred
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria, DSM-5, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based practices
- Strong group facilitation, clinical assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
- Commitment to client-centered, recovery-oriented care
