Above and Beyond Therapy is looking for an exceptional Quality Assurance - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in the back office. This role is for a Utilization Specialist to oversee caseload management across our teams.

ABT currently serves families with center, home and school based services across the following states:
Georgia, Indiana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Utah.

We are offering a salary between $85K and $90k

Above and Beyond Therapy provides the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for children on the autism spectrum. Our highly qualified and personally dedicated BCBAs (Board Certified Behavior Analysts) combine their extensive knowledge and experience with our innovative treatment techniques to improve clients  social, behavioral, and adaptive skills. Above and beyond Therapy BCBAs deliver individually tailored treatment plans with compassion in homes, schools, and our conveniently located state of the art centers.

Responsibilities
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Utilization Specialist responsibilities include reviewing and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of treatment plans before submission to funding sources. Your work will directly support our clinical team in delivering high-quality, ethical, and effective ABA services.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Audit Treatment Plans: Conduct thorough reviews of treatment plans to ensure they meet insurance and regulatory standards, align with medical necessity, and reflect best practices in ABA therapy.
  • Ensure Compliance: Verify that all treatment plans meet ethical, legal, and insurance requirements, following guidelines set by BACB, funding sources, and state regulations.
  • Provide Feedback & Support: Offer constructive feedback to BCBAs on treatment plan content, goal selection, justification, and documentation to improve clarity and effectiveness.
  • Monitor Data Integrity: Ensure treatment goals and progress reports are data-driven, objective, and accurately reflect the client’s progress.
  • Assist in Standardization: Support the development and implementation of standardized templates, checklists, and guidelines for treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Teams: Work closely with BCBAs, RBTs, and administrative staff to improve treatment planning and ensure consistency across all client programs.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Keep up to date with industry changes, insurance requirements, and evidence-based interventions to enhance treatment planning standards.
Job Requirements
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of BCBA experience
    , preferably with treatment plan writing and insurance submissions.
  • Strong understanding of medical necessity criteria and insurance guidelines for ABA therapy.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor fellow BCBAs in treatment planning.
  • Proficiency in ABA data collection and Central Reach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
