Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
At LTS, we are seeking full-time undergraduate/graduate students pursuing an engineering degree for our internship program that possess a strong academic background and are eager to learn. Here you will have the opportunity to own a project, see it through start to finish and present your results. This role will take place in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting with hands on experience with line equipment and packaging componentry to produce lifesaving medicines for patients.
Responsibilities- Interact with teams responsible for developing and manufacturing lifesaving medicines for patients
- Intern will be part of a team and will work alongside other experienced professionals on critical project initiatives
- Participate in and lead packaging line trials at manufacturing facilities as needed
- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional team members and outside suppliers
- Support technical projects by leading weekly project meetings and maintaining timelines
- Support implementation and installation of new equipment onsite
- Support product transfer/qualification to new packaging line
- Lead process improvements projects
- Present results to the management team upon completion of the internship
Juniors, Seniors, or Grad students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.2 Students majoring in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering related program Ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, communicative, has good problem-solving skills, ability to learn quickly, proficient in data compilation, presentation skills, document review and writing
