The Process Engineering Intern will work with the process engineers on day-to-day line support activities. Special projects will be assigned, and a structured onboarding plan will be followed.
Primary Duties- Assist the Engineering team on the onboarding and implementation of new equipment
- Audit and analyze different processes to identify areas of continuous improvement opportunities
- Aid in the execution of Engineering projects for product onboarding
- Create and update documentation that governs the processes for the company
- Support the Process Engineering team in real time with equipment troubleshooting events
- Acquire spare parts based on criticality and use to support equipment reliability
Create Engineering drawings in AutoCAD to be sent to external vendors for fabrication.
Qualifications and ExperienceJuniors and Seniors are welcome to apply! (Minimum GPA of 3.2) Preferred majors include Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, and Pharmaceutical Engineering. Autocad, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint experience is required. The engineering student should be interested in Process Engineering and Maintenance for pharmaceutical manufacturing. Basic troubleshooting of mechanical equipment, project management, good organization, and knowledge of basic engineering principles is preferred.
