Freight Broker

Since our client’s inception in 1983, they've grown to several offices nationwide and are searching for Freight Brokers to join their team in Lakewood, Colorado. As a Freight Broker, you will be working individually and with trucking companies to move customers’ freight, provide support to carrier teams, track shipments, provide customer updates, and resolve issues as needed.

Full-time

• Grow new and existing business utilizing all services available.
• Strong price negotiations to grow sustainable and profitable business relationships. Provide customers with the most efficient and safe mode of transportation.
• Increase revenues and improve profitability.
• Anticipate service impacts and implement solutions.
• Communicate with Customer Service concerning ETA & availability.

• Previous transportation / logistics experience is preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Positive attitude and a desire to learn and thrive
