Assist store management with operations, develop associates, and achieve sales goals and performance standards.
Essential Job Functions- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Train and develop sales team
- Provide feedback, coaching, and enforce policies
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Manage daily store operations in management's absence
- Oversee loss prevention practices
- Communicate store needs to management
- Complete bank deposits and other tasks promptly
- Deliver a fun, full-service customer experience
- Resolve customer issues effectively
- Demonstrate the Journeys culture
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Desire to succeed in retail
- Willingness to learn
- Completion of training programs or equivalent
- Availability for night and weekend shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Must be at least 18 years old
