The OpportunityThe Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive clinical care while working closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced practice focused on clinical excellence, collaboration, and meaningful patient outcomes.
What You’ll Do- Clinical Care & Diagnostics — Examine patients, obtain medical histories, document findings, and make clinical assessments
- Clinical Care & Diagnostics — Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests (X-rays, EKGs, lab work)
- Clinical Care & Diagnostics — Prescribe medications in accordance with state scope-of-practice regulations and clinic policies
- Clinical Care & Diagnostics — Educate patients on health maintenance, nutrition, and overall wellness
- Procedural & Therapeutic Support — Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, wound care, suturing, and immunizations
- Procedural & Therapeutic Support — Assist with emergency treatments and complex or invasive procedures within scope and privileges
- Care Planning, Collaboration & Compliance — Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with physicians
- Care Planning, Collaboration & Compliance — Counsel patients, monitor progress, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Care Planning, Collaboration & Compliance — Exercise independent clinical judgment and consult physicians as appropriate
- Care Planning, Collaboration & Compliance — Adhere to CPC’s clinical, ethical, and documentation standards

- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP)
- National NP board certification
- Current unrestricted state license required
- BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Unrestricted DEA license required
- Ongoing continuing education and board recertification per certifying body requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to care for patients across all age groups
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs, push up to 300 lbs, maintain corrected 20/20 vision, and perform prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and manual tasks
